This Terrace salutes the former Boarding House once housed at the property: The Carolina Terrace. Boarding Houses were extremely popular in Black Mountain in the mid-1900’s, due to the area’s natural healing waters and popular Black Mountain College of the Arts. The Terrace is a ‘Scandinavian Attic Loft’, pulling inspirations from our Eastern European travels.
