Lake Julian

37-minutes from Peri, Lake Julian Park offers fishing, picnic areas, disc golf, outdoor games, a playground and paddle boats for rent.

Dinner @ Bush Farmhouse

The Bush Farmhouse is about blending local ingredients with South African-inspired food and drink. They source quality meat, preparing it with fresh and organic produce from their on-site garden and greenhouse.

Day 2

Tour Earthhaven Eco Village

Founded in 1994, Earthaven is located on 329 acres in culturally rich, biologically diverse WNC. They are dedicated to caring for people and the Earth by learning and demonstrating a holistic, sustainable culture. Tour reservation required, please be courteous - these are people’s personal homes!

Foraging Tour

Or “Wild Food Stroll” with No Taste Like Home, an Asheville experience like no other. They describe the afternoon as: “three hours ‘off the beaten path,’ we find and gather over a dozen wild edibles. We’ll whip up a little tasting right on the trail. Take home the rest of your finds or get ready for some fine dining when one of our award-winning restaurant partners prepares your catch of the day.”

Beer Tasting at Pisgah Brewing

Day 3

Hike Catawba Falls

Recently re-opened, this hike can be as easy as 2.1 miles out-and-back to the base of the falls. Or, tackle the 500+ stairs to enjoy mountain views and make it a full loop

(3.6 miles total).

An Old Fort must! Grab a single, unique treat or bring a dozen home to share!

Refresh at Hillman Beer

Grab a porch seat overlooking the river and enjoy one of Hillman Beer’s refreshing house brews. Their food is “order at the counter” so great for groups!
